Lovedale Farm – Hunter Valley, NSW

The first integrated resort and residential golf course layout that I have planned, Lovedale Farm is set in the Hunter Valley with a classic Australian rural feel and a strong bushland/heathland character. The holes are routed along lower land adjacent Black Creek, and two of its tributary creeks.

The two-loop routing presents golfers with a series of attractive holes and tremendous natural variety. The creeks are well positioned for interesting golf, and the rural outlooks are prominent throughout the round.

While Darius Oliver routed the Lovedale Farm golf course, he is not involved in the final design. Many of the holes have been refined and altered by the project's developer, along with various consultants.

 

Course construction is expected to begin in mid 2026.
